Neutralizers of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan
Many oil fields are characterized by a high content of hydrogen disulfide and mercaptans. Currently, the concentration of these substances in commercial oil and petroleum products is regulated by the Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Community Customs Union. Neutralizers- bactericide agents Desulfon-SNPKh-1100 and Desulfon-SNPKh-1200 have been developed to reduce hydrogen disulfide and mercaptan compounds concentration or to completely remove them in oil.

DESULFON-SNPKh-1100
Meant to be used for neutralizing hydrogen disulfide in oil-water emulsions, commercial oil, gas condensate and water-based systems
Application
The availability of hydrogen sulfide in a well production causes severe corrosion of oilfield equipment, gas injection wellhead blockage with iron sulfides and general deterioration of the environmental situation. Desulfon-SNPKh-1100 can be used in flowing petroleum wells, oil and gas gathering systems, the systems for oil processing which include clarifier tanks, transport pipelines and reservoir pressure maintenance systems.
The quantity of Desulfon-SNPKh-1100 required for hydrogen disulfide neutralization depends on its content in the system and the required degree of its mitigation. Usual proportion of Desulfon-SNPKh-1100 at oil treating makes 2 ppm for 1 ррm of hydrogen disulfide.
Advanced properties
- causes protective inhibitory effect – at dosage of 30 g /м3 of liquid makes 60-70%.
- possesses the properties of bactericide used to inhibit the growth of sulfur reducing bacteria. Specific consumption makes100-500 g/m3 of liquid depending on the oilfield environment contamination with sulfate-reducing bacteria.

Designed for neutralizing methyl, ethyl mercaptans and hydrogen disulfide in commercial oil, natural gas condensate, oil collection and treatment systems, transport pipelines.
Application
The quantity of Desulfon-SNPKh-1200 required for methyl, ethyl mercaptans and/or hydrogen disulfide neutralization depends on their content in the system and the required degree of their degrading. Usual proportion of Desulfon-SNPKh-1100 at oil treating makes 4-5 ppm for 1 ррm of methyl, ethyl mercaptans and/or hydrogen disulfide.
